The Mach 3 Turbo is the next generation triple-blade razor for less irritation and the closest shave every time - even when shaving against the grain. The three anti-friction blades enable the blade to remove more of each hair with less irritation, combined with new soft protective Microfins that gently smooths down the skin to make shaving even and effortless.

Patented ‘Comfort’ edges on each blade enable it to glide effortlessly and comfortably across the face, whilst an enhanced blue indicator lubricating strip allows gliding for longer. This makes the closest and most comfortable of shaves possible in just a few strokes.

Razors

Traditionally a straight razor is favored by barbers for shaving the face. The straight razor is a blade that can fold into its handle. They are also called open razors and cut-throat razors, the latter particularly in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. The shaving is done with the blade at approximately an angle of thirty degrees to the skin. Straight razors require considerable skill to hone, strop, and use correctly. The required skills were once a major portion of the curriculum in barber colleges.

Although straight razors were once the principal method of manual shaving, they have been largely overshadowed by multi-edge or cartridge razors, disposable blade razors and electric razors of various types, the most popular of these being the manual cartridge razor.

These razors come with disposable heads that are relatively low cost and ensure a sharp blade without the inconvenience of sharpening. Modern day manual cartridge razors provide a close, safe shave with minimum risk of cuts.
