Fiona Rae Cufflinks

Fiona Rae, a member of the British Society of Enamellers, produces high quality hand enamelled cufflinks (and other fine jewellery) which centre around classic designs delivered in an innovative way... beneath transparent enamels of rich and varied hues, detailed patterns and intricate textures can be found. Her luxury cufflinks and jewellery are on sale in the UK at Paul Smith (in Covent Garden), Liberty's, Studio Fusion (at The Oxo Tower) and Isetan (Japan).

Fiona Rae has been designing and producing high quality cufflinks, jewellery and vitreous enamel pieces since graduating from Central St. Martins with a first class Honours degree in Jewellery Design in 1988.

She uses ancient enamel techniques dating back from 500BC to produce high quality contemporary jewellery and luxury cufflinks. Vitreous enamel is glass fused onto metal. The colours are hand ground and then each piece is fired in a kiln at least four times.

The quality and detail in Fiona's work has led to many prestigious commissions, most notably from HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales. Indeed Fiona Rae has received a prestiguous Royal Warrant. Her stunning cufflinks are worn by the Prince of Wales who also gives them as gifts (in 2001 the prince commissioned 60 pairs of her cufflinks, as well as 40 of her enamelled pill boxes in order to give as thank-you gifts on his state visits). The warrant allows Fiona to use the legend "By Appointment" and to display the royal arms on her stationery and gift boxes.
