Jersey Pearl source their luxury pearls directly from pearl farmers and guarantee that every pearl has ‘Excellent’ lustre (the shininess of a pearl) grading, which is the highest level grade on the Gemological Institute of America's (GIA) pearl grading system. This combined with the fact that Jersey Pearl only use real pearls that aren’t dyed (so that you can see their beautiful natural colours) mean that you know you are buying something very special.
Besides using the best quality pearls in the world, Jersey Pearl jewellery uses precious metals to finish their pieces. Indeed you will never find any base metals in Jersey Pearl jewellery. They only use rhodium or 24kt gold plate on sterling silver which prevents the silver from tarnishing (and staining the pearls). Likewise Jersey Pearl string their pearl jewellery on silk because it’s strong and the knots remain tighter for longer (compared to cheaper polyester thread).
