About The Gentlemens Refinery
The Gentlemen’s Refinery were founded Perry Gastis, with the help of a natural chemist. Gastis was already an expert in his field but was keen to revolutionise male grooming products. Indeed the men’s grooming products industry was locked in decades of formality and tradition, and more alarmingly age-old ingredient lists.
The need for barbers was once as traditional as the need for physicians and Perry Gastis wanted to bridge old world tradition by qualifying regular barber visits as essential to good grooming and good health. By using The Gentlemens Refinery which are 100% natural grooming products, Perry envisioned barbers would reclaim their prestige and men everywhere will look and feel better.
Gastis is a fourth generation barber with a lifetime of experience; which he focused into The Gentlemens Refinery collection. His status as “Executive Master Barber” is a testament to his skill and dedication to the male grooming industry, and also his elite international client list. His genuine goal is to provide men everywhere with choices for optimal grooming with The Gentlemens Refinery products.
Organic Shaving Products
The Gentlemens Refinery was created to reintroduce pure and natural products. Time and care was spent in research and development of a shaving and skincare collection that spans from pre-shave to after-shave as well as facial care. Every product is 100% natural, paraben and alcohol free.
No artificial colours or fragrances are used and the entire The Gentlemens Refinery uses only the mildest, food grade preservatives (and only where necessary). All product ingredients meet BDIH guidelines for Natural Certification, and Certified Organic ingredients are used where possible. No harmful side products are produced by the organic reactions used to form the ingredients. Furthermore all the ingredients used in The Gentlemens Refinery collection are from renewable plant and mineral sources.
Pre Shave Oil
The Gentlemens Refinery Pre Shave Oil is formulated for every skin type. It does not matter what beard texture the user has. Using The Gentlemens Refinery Pre Shave Oil increases your shave experience and post shave skin condition to the highest degree.
Shaving Cream
The Gentlemens Refinery offer three shaving cream products; "The Standard" Shave Cream, Black Ice Shave Cream, and UnScented Shave Cream.
The Black Ice shave cream is lightly scented with Anise, Bergamot and Basil oils whereas the UnScented shave cream is designed for those with skin, or scent sensitivities.
After Shave
The Gentlemens Refinery consider restoring post shave skin as an essential part to the perfect shaving routine. Their Aftershave Balm product is antibacterial and contains calming and moisturising benefits.
Face Care
The Gentlemens Refinery offers advanced grooming products to assist in restoring and maintaining healthy looking skin. Products include moisturiser and eye gel.
The Gentlemens Refinery Moisturiser includes ingredients such as Oat Protein, Glycerin and Vitamin E which quickly absorbs into the skin and maintains its balance.
The Eye Gel treatment is designed to reduce dark colour and lift the under eye area, through use of hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring compound), which responsible for the moisture and elasticity of human skin.
Shaving Brushes
The preferred shaving lather is produced with the finest shaving brush. Indeed The Gentlemens Refinery offers a collection of the finest silvertip badger hair brushes available. Their brushes are hand made, and are considered the standard in wet shaving.
